Today the unbelievers have despaired of overcoming your religion. So do not be afraid of them, but be afraid of Me. Today I have perfected your religion for you and completed My blessing upon you, and I am pleased with Islam as a religion for you. But if anyone is forced by hunger, not intending any wrongdoing, Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ( Surat al-Ma'ida, 5:3)

Allah created humanity and, as “Does He Who created not then know? He is the All-Pervading, the All-Aware” ( Surat al-Mulk, 67:14) emphasizes, He knows best what we need. Allah presented the religion in the form that best conforms to our nature so that all of us could know and serve Him, and thereby attain eternal happiness and salvation. Our Lord, the All-Wise, is pleased with Islam. No doubt, only Allah perfects the religion and uses it, in turn, to perfect His servants.
